The music is random. Caught somewhere between the Sixties in a bad mood and Hip-Hop having a good day, names like Pink Floyd, Beastie Boys, John Lennon, Grateful Dead, Beck, Radiohead, and Lenny Kravitz have been known to come up after hearing Spent. The shared experience of having heard these artists allows one to prepare themselves for what sounds lie ahead at a Spent show, but be assured that the music sounds specifically like none of the aforementioned artists but only invokes the moods that they convey. And a journey it is. A beginning, a middle, an end in finale and the occasional epilogue if time permits.

"Spent" refers to the lack of new ideas in society, not due to a lack of creativity, but instead from a total saturation of the various mediums at hand. To truly create something new at this point and time is a difficult task, but it is the struggle to do so that drives the music of Spent.
