Versatility is the key to a successful upward climb in the field of entertainment. It is Indeya's unique ability to perform contemporary, pop, jazz and R&B through a dynamic, eclectic creative stage presence. Indeya's 5 octave vocal range has enabled her to reach widely diverse audiences.
Personalities such as Branford Marsalis, George Duke, Herbie Hancock, Dr. Dre, Miki Howard, Keith Washington and Joni Mitchell are just a few of the who's who you will find frequenting Indeya's concerts at Hollywood's hot spots such as the Roxbury, Nucleus Nuance and the Hana Room at Hotel Nikko.
"She acts as though she's on stage at the Greek or the Hollywood Bowl. She's not letting the fact that she's in a crowded club stop her dramatic performance. I felt that this stage was too small for this woman's prodigious talent, she was really quite awesome."
From cabaret's to concerts, Joe Louis Arena, Caesar's Palace to the Great Western Forum, size is of no importance. "It's From the Heart" said Chet Atkins as his show was opened by Indeya at Denver's Center of Performing Arts. It was truly a night to remember when Indeya and Patti LaBelle performed live at Mac Nichols Arena in Denver, Colorado as was her duet with Stevie Wonder at Cafe Guiseppes in Los Angeles.
Opening for Anita Baker, Bob James and Joe Sample, from Lou Rawls and Jerry Lewis' Telethons, the Mayor's Inaugural Ball, to Jennifer Grant's wedding (daughter of Cary Grant and Diane Cannon). Placing Top 10 in the Budweiser's National Songwriters Competition and First Place for Best Song In Denver's Songwriters Association, Indeya's professional background covers the entire spectrum of the music business.
"It is an honor to have Jud Freidman, co-writer of the Grammy nominated hit "Run to You," Whitney Houston and "I Don't Have the Heart," James Ingram, along with Karin Rybar, co-writer of "Sacred Kind of Love," Phyllis Hyman and "Where Would I be Without You," Gladys Knight as well as Producer/Composer Frank Randall collaborating with me on my upcoming album project. Success is inevitable."
She electrifies the audience and leaves them breathless. She truly is the "Entertainer's Entertainer."
Presenting to some, introducing to others, this is Indeya.
